Terms of Service

Effective Date: April 21, 2026

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms of Service govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between Narrative Inc. (the "Company"), which operates autome(the "Service"), and its users regarding the use of the Service.

Article 2 (Definitions)

  1. "Service" refers to all features provided by the Company, including conversation analysis, AI assistant provisioning, and channel integration.
  2. "User" refers to any person who uses the Service under these Terms.
  3. "Paid Service" refers to AI assistant features available through a recurring subscription.
  4. "Subscription" refers to a monthly or yearly Paid Service agreement that renews automatically until cancelled.
  5. "Free Trial" refers to a time-limited evaluation period that the Company may offer before paid subscription.
  6. "AI Assistant" refers to the automation agent generated based on the User's conversation analysis results.
  7. "Conversation Data" refers to text, chat export files, email content, and other materials the User provides for analysis.

Article 3 (Service Description)

The Service provides the following features:

  1. Conversation Analysis (Free): The Service uses AI to analyze Conversation Data provided by the User, identifying work tendencies, communication styles, and automatable tasks.
  2. AI Assistant (Paid): Based on analysis results, a personalized AI Assistant is created and integrated with Telegram and other messengers to automate tasks.
  3. Result Sharing: Analysis results can be shared with third parties via a unique link.

Article 4 (Service Agreement)

  1. The service agreement is formed when a User signs in with a Google account.
  2. Non-members may use the conversation analysis feature, but sign-in is required to use Paid Services and save results.
  3. Users must provide accurate personal information and must not impersonate others.

Article 5 (Paid Services, Subscription and Payment)

  1. Paid Services are offered as monthly or yearly recurring Subscriptions that renew automatically on each billing cycle unless cancelled.
  2. Subscription fees, billing cycles, and charge dates are governed by the terms presented on the checkout screen.
  3. Domestic (Korean) payments are processed in KRW via Toss Payments; international payments are processed in USD via Polar.
  4. Payment card details are securely held by the payment service providers; the Company does not directly store sensitive data such as full card numbers.
  5. Fees may change with prior notice, and the revised fees apply from the next billing cycle.

Article 6 (Free Trial)

  1. The Company may offer an eligible User a one-time Free Trial without requiring payment card registration.
  2. The duration and scope of a Free Trial are governed by the conditions presented on the checkout screen or promotional notice.
  3. A Free Trial is generally offered once per User; if duplicate use is detected, access may be restricted.
  4. Paid Service access ends when the Free Trial expires unless a paid Subscription is started separately.

Article 7 (Cancellation and Refunds)

  1. Users may cancel their Subscription at any time through in-app settings or by contacting customer support.
  2. When cancellation is requested, the User retains access to Paid Services until the end of the current billing cycle, and automatic renewal stops thereafter.
  3. Due to the nature of digital content, refunds for the current billing cycle are limited after Paid Service use has begun. Refunds will be issued where required by applicable law.
  4. If Paid Services cannot be used normally due to reasons attributable to the Company, the service period may be extended or a refund issued.

Article 8 (User Obligations)

Users must not engage in the following activities:

  1. Analyzing another person's conversation data without their consent
  2. Using the Service to perform automation for illegal purposes
  3. Circumventing or interfering with the Service's technical safeguards
  4. Distributing malware or imposing unreasonable load on the servers
  5. Infringing on others' personal information or misusing information collected through the Service

Article 9 (Service Provision and Changes)

  1. The Service is provided year-round in principle, but may be temporarily suspended for system maintenance, equipment replacement, or similar reasons.
  2. Changes to service content, usage methods, or availability will be announced in advance.
  3. Free service features may be changed without prior notice.

Article 10 (Disclaimer)

  1. AI analysis results are for reference only, and their accuracy or completeness is not guaranteed. The User is responsible for decisions made based on analysis results.
  2. The accuracy of AI Assistant responses is not guaranteed, and the Company is not liable for damages resulting from unverified use of such responses.
  3. Liability is waived in cases where the Service cannot be provided due to force majeure, such as natural disasters or server failures.
  4. The User is responsible for the legality of the Conversation Data they submit.

Article 11 (Intellectual Property)

  1. Intellectual property rights for the Service's design, logo, and software belong to the Company.
  2. Rights to Conversation Data submitted by Users remain with the Users; the Company uses such data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
  3. Users may freely use analysis results generated by AI.

Article 12 (Dispute Resolution)

  1. These Terms shall be interpreted and applied in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea.
  2. In the event of a dispute related to use of the Service, both parties shall negotiate in good faith for an amicable resolution.
  3. If negotiation fails, either party may file a lawsuit with the competent court under the Civil Procedure Act.
